Horizontal or vertical tanks?
For example, horizontal tanks suit large volumes where ceiling height is limited, such as solvent and ethanol storage beside an extraction line or outdoor hydrosol storage. On the other hand, vertical tanks on legs take up less floor space and drain fully through a conical or dished bottom, which makes them a good fit for finished products and daily process volumes.
What we build into a tank
- Material: food grade stainless steel suitable for essential oils, hydrosols and solvents.
- Manholes and fittings: manholes for inspection and cleaning, outlet valves, level indicators and vent lines placed where the operator needs them.
- Diseño inferior: conical or dished bottoms so the tank empties completely.
- Insulation and jackets: optional, for products that must stay at a set temperature.
- Movilidad: we can also put small tanks on wheels so you can move product between stations.
