Dünder Makine: Quality, Speed & Trust
Extraction and distillation line set up in the workshop for a factory acceptance test by Dünder Makine

Before a line leaves our workshop, we set it up and test it as a whole. This step is called a factory acceptance test. The photo shows a complete extraction and distillation line during assembly in our hall, with tanks, pumps, a column and a large still.

What you see in the photo

What we check in a factory acceptance test

  1. First, we check every weld, flange and gasket.
  2. Then we run a pressure and leak test on the vessels and pipes.
  3. Next, we test the pumps, motors and valves.
  4. After that, we check the sensors and the control panel.
  5. Finally, we run water through the whole line to confirm the flow.

You can read more about the practice on the acceptance testing page.

Why it saves time on site

Problems are cheaper to fix in our workshop than at your site. Therefore, the factory acceptance test finds them early. As a result, installation is faster, and the plant starts production sooner.

In addition, the customer can join the test, in person or by video. So you see your line working before it ships.

After the factory acceptance test

We mark every pipe and part, take the line apart and pack it for transport. Then our team rebuilds it on site with the same markings.

In short, a factory acceptance test gives you confidence before shipping. See our industrial extraction systems and distillation units.
